In-home organising

The Shouna Method, led by Shang, Shouna’s co-founder and lead organiser. Sessions start at three hours.

We’ll need you involved for at least the first hour. The more we understand how you actually use the space, the better the system will work when we leave.

Two 2 m cabinets, 1.5 hours

The two-metre cabinets, just over a metre across, had enough space, but no shelf had a clear job. Shang planned what each level should hold from the client’s photos and measurements, then spent 1.5 hours of the visit organising both.

两米高、宽一米出头的柜子本身够大，但每一层都没有明确用途。Shang 先根据客户的照片和尺寸规划各层，再到现场用这趟上门中的 1.5 小时整理好两组柜子。

Session length depends on the belongings, not just the room size (lots of small items can take longer). We’ll ask for a few photos before confirming the length and timing. Prefer to write first? Send a short brief.

A rented living room with two awkward alcoves needed to hold work, television, knitting and the cat’s window seat. We kept the useful furniture, gave each wall a job and showed how a horizontal KALLAX, tabletop and two legs would work together. Client photographs are pixelated. The layout images are proposals, not after photographs.

一个带两处别扭壁龛的出租屋客厅，要同时容纳办公、看电视、编织，也要保留猫看窗外的位置。我们留下好用的家具，给每面墙分工，再画清横放 KALLAX、桌板和两条桌腿该怎么组合。客户实拍已像素化；效果图是方案，不是完工照。
